Chicago, Illinois
Chicago has quite a large parade of its own, with more than 300,000 spectators turning out annually, but the Windy City has something else going for it that no other city can claim - the Chicago River gets dyed green for the occasion! Since the 1960s, Chicago has dyed its river a shade of emerald green and at least one local company now offers sightseeing cruises, complete with a meal of corned beef and cabbage, down the green river.
