I made Crab Cakes

How I made Crab Cakes ?
Ingredients :
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup small diced yellow onions
1/4 cup small diced red bell peppers
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 pound lump crabmeat, cleaned and picked over for shells
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley leaves
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, (juice of 2 lemons), in all 2 eggs,
in all 3 1/2 cups vegetable oil,
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 cups fine bread crumbs,
in all 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Mixed the crab Meat
Egg Beat

Bread Crumbs
Preparation : Heat the olive oil in a medium saute pan over medium heat. Add the onions, and peppers. Season with salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and continue to saute for 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and cool for 5 minutes.
Sauted Onions and Red Bell Peppers.
Mix the crab meat and sauted bell peppers and Onions


I mixed up Crab meat , Sauted Onions and Bell peppers , Salt & Pepper , 2 tbps lemon Juice and I added some Indian Red Peppers.

After mixing well. Made small balls and then flattened to make patties.

Heated oil in a Pan and then the next pictures explains it all.



Turned the patties to the other side.


Sauce for the Crab Cakes :

2 Spoons Lite Mayo
2 tbsp lemon Juice
pinch of Oregano
Pinch of black Pepper
some Capers

Mix it up well.








Crab Cakes all done with the Sauce .


I made some Shrimp Fajitas too ...so this was my saturday night dinner.
