Salma Hayek - addicted to breastfeeding ???

Salma Hayek as we know, is very addicted to breastfeeding. She took a trip to Sierra Leone on a UNICEF fact-finding trip and came across a mother and her child that she had to help. The child was starving and the mother was unable to feed it, Salma picked up the baby and nursed it. Would you do the same? I'm pretty sure I would. Salma said, "It's about women sticking together and we really need to help the children in any way we can.

" Salma is a UNICEF activist and is fighting to promote breastfeeding in Africa but says that there are still many hurdles to climb in getting the results they are striving for. She said, "It is the best thing you can do for your child, not only the bonding, that's how you build the immune system, so in a country like Africa imagine how important it is for the mothers to do that. But there is the belief that if you are breastfeeding you cannot have a sexual life, so the husbands of these women are really encouraging them to stop and this is just a taboo."Whether you breastfeed or not, you've got to admit, it warms the heart to know that there are those that do what they can to help.
